Madi McKay '22 Recognized for Outstanding Contributions to Student Affairs
Madi McKay '22 was honored for her outstanding contributions to Pacific University's student affairs at the 2022 Undergraduate Awards Ceremony.
McKay "has been instrumental in providing interpersonal violence prevention education to the entire campus community, but specifically housing residents and athletes," her nominators said. She has coordinated a team of peer health educators who have trained more than 1,000 students on interpersonal violence prevention and response. She also has coordinated several Sexual Assault Awareness Month events during her years at the Center for Gender Equity.
The other seniors honored for their contributions to student affairs at this year's Undergraduate Awards Ceremony were Joey Grafton '22, Anjolina Horzynek '22, Logan Aki-Marcos '22, Chiffon "Fon" Noble '22, Aubrey Romero '22 and Kathleen Ward '22.
