Bon Appétit Welcomes New Catering Manager
Bon Appétit welcomes Chenin Chappell, catering manager, as the newest member of its team.
She is a pastry chef by trade, a mother of three and the daughter of a food and wine enthusiasts. In fact, her name was inspired by the very well-known grape variety for wine, Chenin Blanc.
Born in Alexandria, Va., Chappell spent a great deal of her life in San Diego, Calif., where she started her career as a chef at the renowned French restaurant Cafe Chloe. She received first-hand experience in the catering business, not only running the pastry program, but stepping in and working at very intricate events at the restaurant’s event space.
During her career, Chappell transitioned more toward catering, cooking and managing events for several celebrities, even catering for a Space Shuttle Endeavor event at the California Science Center.
Chappell and her husband moved their family to Oregon in 2014, driven by their love of the outdoors and seeking to do more camping, hiking, paddle-boarding and exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
