MFA Welcomes January 2022 Residency Guests

The MFA in Writing program is excited to be welcoming guest writers to the January residency, including poet and translator Adalber Salas Hernández, memoirist Rebecca Carroll, and writer Siddhartha Deb (not pictured).

Here's what to expect in residency:

• Poetry faculty Shara McCallum will be joined by Venezuelan poet and translator Adalber Salas Hernández for a conversation about the art of translation.

• Rebecca Carroll will be joined in conversation by MFA faculty member Claire Dederer, talking about Carroll’s memoir, Surviving the White Gaze.

• Fiction writer and journalist Siddhartha Deb will be joining us, as well, for a craft talk on the residency’s final day.
