Applied Outdoor Leadership Minor

Along with the outdoor leadership major, Pacific University also offers a minor in applied outdoor leadership. Students must complete specific course requirements to earn a minor, which can be found in the online academic catalog.

The applied outdoor leadership minor is for students most interested in working in the backcountry or in a more technical discipline. There are a number of elective class options to choose from in order to pursue your specific area of interest. The elective courses should be chosen in consultation with an academic advisor in order to maximize their benefit to your major.

NOTE: The applied outdoor leadership minor requires you to participate in an off-campus immersion semester that does not allow you to take other classes during this time.
