Sports communication is a wide and expanding field that includes sports writers, apparel marketers and Sports Information Officers. It is broadcast announcers who call games for the Portland Timbers and it is the person who sits as an anchor for ESPN. With classes in journalism, marketing and media law, sports communication transforms a student’s passion and interest in sports into career skills.
When complemented with other majors and minors at Pacific, like sports leadership and management, business marketing, and data science, you will be able to develop a set of skills and knowledge that will prepare you to be the MVP in any number of sports-related environments.
