Trevor Hunt MSAT '21: Pacific University School of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training 2021 Academic Honoree
Trevor Hunt MSAT ’21 has been named a 2021 Athletic Training Academic Honoree by the Pacific University School of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training. The award recognizes extraordinary academic performance in the master of science in athletic training program.
“Trevor has been a tremendous student. During his time with us he has demonstrated the unique ability to be able to find a clinical application for every assignment, test and exam,” said Program Director Jeffrey Kawaguchi.
Hunt, who is from Las Vegas, Nev., is among six May 2021 graduates named Academic Honorees. Others include Johanna Wilson ’20, MSAT ’21, Kevin Attard MSAT '21, Emily Liska MSAT '21, Jamie Leonetti MSAT ’21, and Caylie Shiramizu MSAT '21.
Pacific’s master’s program prepares students for certification and licensure as athletic trainers, healthcare professionals who work with physicians to prevent and diagnose injury, and treat and rehabilitate acute and chronic issues that would impair or limit their patients’ activity.
