Jodelle Marx '21: Outstanding Senior in Creative Writing

Jodelle Marx ’21 was named an Outstanding Senior in Creative Writing by Pacific University. She graduated in May 2021 with a degree in creative writing. She is from St. Helens, Ore.

At Pacific, she and collaborator Riley Stewart presented a project called Hayma’s Journey: Rohingya Refugee Discourse in the United States Elementary Classroom, at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. She also was president of the university’s Equine Scholars Club and a volunteer with Boxer Food Share.

She was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, Pacific’s chapter of the Sigma Tau Delta English Honor Society.
