Elizabeth Swetland '21: Barbara Story Award for Outstanding Theatre Contribution

Elizabeth Swetland ’21 received Pacific University’s Barbara Story Award for Outstanding Theatre Contribution. 

The award is named for the late Barbara Story ’79, who was a longtime supporter of Pacific.

Swetland, who is from Ontario, Ore., majored in theatre at Pacific and graduated in May 2021. As a student, Swetland performed in the Theatre Department’s acclaimed production of Orlando. She also was president of Pacific’s Poetry Club.
