Thomas Nguyen MS, OD '21: Pacific's College of Optometry Dean's Award Recipient

Thomas Nguyen MS, OD '21 received the Pacific University College of Optometry Dean’s Award.

The award recognized overall academic excellence, leadership, community service, and a commitment to fulfill the values of Pacific University’s mission.

Thomas earned his master of science in vision science and his doctorate in optometry in May 2021.

The College of Optometry provides a foundation in basic and clinical sciences, as well as significant hands-on experience in serving diverse populations of patients. Students also are involved in outreach locally and around the world, as they prepare to serve patients anywhere their careers take them. The college offers bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programs in vision science, as well as a doctor of optometry degree.
