Christina Goodrich OD '21: Pacific's VSP/AAOF Practice Excellence Scholarship from the College of Optometry

Christina Goodrich OD '21 received the VSP/AAOF Practice Excellence Scholarship from the Pacific University College of Optometry.

The award recognizes demonstrated excellence in the delivery of primary eye care services and outstanding academic achievement.

Goodrich earned her doctor of optometry degree from Pacific in May 2021. Fellow graduate Megan Schmauder OD '21 also received the award.

The College of Optometry provides a foundation in basic and clinical sciences, as well as significant hands-on experience in serving diverse populations of patients. Students also are involved in outreach locally and around the world, as they prepare to serve patients anywhere their careers take them. The college offers bachelor’s, master’s and PhD programs in vision science, as well as a doctor of optometry degree.
