Rachel Bryant MS, OD '21: Pacific's Best MS Research Award from the College of Optometry
Rachel Bryant MS, OD '21 received the 2021 Best MS Research Award from the Pacific University College of Optometry.
Bryant, who is from Canada, was granted the award for her exceptional research as part of her master's program in vision science. She earned both the master's degree and her doctor of optometry in May 2021.
Fellow master’s student Omnia Ghandurah MS '21 also received the award.
The College of Optometry provides a foundation in basic and clinical sciences, as well as significant hands-on experience in serving diverse populations of patients. Students also are involved in outreach locally and around the world, as they prepare to serve patients anywhere their careers take them. The college offers bachelors, master’s and PhD programs in vision science, as well as a doctor of optometry degree.
