Student Success Courses
One aspect included in the Supporting Inclusive Success initiative is the Student Success Course offered during fall and spring semesters.
This course is specifically designed, based on the holistic academic and financial coaching model, to help students from AAPI, low-income and/or first-generation backgrounds achieve success.
The goal is to help students better understand the Pacific curriculum, foster student belonging and self-efficacy, and develop skills, such as time management, interacting with faculty, financial literacy, and the use of support resources.
As part of this course, students will develop an “academic and financial plan” that maps out a degree-completion academic plan, as well as a financial plan for funding their education.
