'Enjoy Every Adventure Thrown At You Along The Way'
Nate Anderson '17, MAT '20 completed his master's degree in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Being flexible, he said, was — and is — a must.
"Enjoy every adventure thrown at you along the way," he said.
Anderson earned his undergraduate degree in exercise science at Pacific University, then went on to earn his master of arts in teaching. "I loved the small school feel and how closely you get to work with the professors here," he said.
Anderson has gone on to work for the Beaverton School District, where he strives to inspire and excite students to reach their goals.
His advice for other future Pacific students? "Once you find your academic passion, strive to do your best and not just try to be the best."
