Lavender Graduation Honors Queer Identified Students

Lavender Graduation is an annual ceremony conducted on campuses around the country to honor the contributions and academic achievements of queer students, however they may identify. The Queer Coalition, a committee of representatives from a number of queer and allied groups around campus, is currently planning Pacific's first ever Lavender Graduation scheduled at 4 p.m. Thursday, May 13.

Queer identified students, who are interested in virtually celebrating their graduation with fellow members of Pacific's queer community, may fill out this brief survey to receive more information. Please note: Due to time constraints, students responding after April 19 might not be included in the video presentation, but will be included in the celebration.

The Queer Coalition invites LGBTQ+ and allied Pacific students, faculty and staff to attend the celebration. Guests need to register in advance to access the Zoom link.

The student-led organizing team is looking forward to celebrating queer undergraduate students who are graduating in May, queer PhD and MA students graduating in August (or any other month), and queer identified Class of 2020 graduates who would like to have their achievements celebrated.

Thank you!
