In Memoriam: Joel Thomas '90

Joel Thomas ‘90 died on April 28, 2020 in Japan at the age of 54. Thomas, who majored in business administration and world languages at Pacific, taught English to students in Japan. In Pacific magazine's spring 1992 edition, Thomas talked about his experience teaching in Japan, where he said students did not speak during class, and the cultural adaptations he brought to the classroom.
