Pacific Votes Pledge helps Boxers prepare for November election

Boxers need only answer eight simple questions to receive personalized support for voting in November’s election. The Pacific Votes Pledge is open to all students, faculty, and staff of Pacific University. Once completed, you’ll receive an email confirming that you’re on track and helping you finalize your plan.

One of the many resources rolled out by the McCall Center for Civic Engagement on the Vote2020 page, the pledge will help cut through the noise of this election and focus just on what steps you need to take to make your voice heard. Regardless of where you’re living this semester, or what state you plan to vote in, the MCCE and the Pacific Votes Pledge can help you put your plan into action.

To encourage participation, the MCCE will be holding a prize pack drawing every Friday for the next five weeks (from 9/25 through 10/25). Once you sign the pledge, you will be entered into all future drawings – so pledge early for the best chance to win. Prize packs include VOTE masks, campus bookstore gift certificates, Starbucks gift cards, and much more. Find details of each week’s prize on the MCCE Instagram.

The MCCE will be rolling out more resources and events as the election approaches and welcome your emails or phone calls with questions or concerns. This is a non-partisan effort (we will never tell you how to vote), but believe fiercely in democracy and are working to ensure every Boxer has the tools they need to participate in the November election.
