Dr. Hilliard Elected Chair of the Northwest Intermountain Consortium
Dr. Jeremy Hilliard, physical therapy faculty member and director of Clinical Education, is the newly elected chair of the Northwest Intermountain Consortium (NIC) of Clinical Education Programs. The NIC is the geographically largest membership consortium in the nation, consisting of 18 physical therapist education programs across nine states. The mission of the NIC is “to maximize the collaborative efforts of individuals and programs in the region for the enhancement and promotion of quality clinical education” by offering online resources, hosting continuing education conferences, and offering news updates relevant to clinical education.
Dr. Hilliard added the following statement, “There is such an amazing amount of talent in our regional group of academic clinical educators. The breadth of knowledge, passion, innovation, and dedication to quality education and the success of all of our students is impressive and inspiring. We work as partners and collaborators toward the success of all of our students and I am grateful to be in my position with the group. It is truly an honor and privilege to serve alongside and learn from my colleagues.”
