More Sleep Recommended for Winter

Winter months bring less sunshine, colder weather, and seemingly more sickness symptoms to manage. Feeling tired throughout the day or even rundown is common for many people. Vacations and holiday activities can also disrupt sleep schedules. Inadequate rest can affect overall well-being and minimize one's abilities to concentrate and feel productive.

Due to these factors, the Health and Safety Committee has designated January as Fatigue Awareness month. The committee would like to remind community members to prioritize their health and take steps to get quality rest.
