Robert DeCou '05 Swims Strait for Human Trafficking
Robert DeCou '05 swam from the U.S. to Canada across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. DeCou's goal was to raise awareness and funds to help prevent human trafficking. He swam 31 miles in 17 hours, and made it within 670 feet of the Canadian shore. DeCou raised over $10,000 for human trafficking prevention efforts.
Two years ago, DeCou completed a 135-mile run to Mount Whitney to raise money to combat polio.
