Pacific University College of Education's MAT STEM Program receives $1.4 Million Grant from NSF
Pacific University College of Education's Master of Arts in Teaching in STEM/ESOL program recently received a $1.4 million grant from the National Science Foundation to support developing STEM teachers in high needs school districts across Oregon, focusing specifically on growing the number of women and teachers of color in the STEM fields.
The grant funds up to $25,000 scholarships for eligible candidates. The program, partnership with Woodburn School District, current students, and Dr. Kevin Carr were recently featured in an article in the Statesman Journal.
