African Scholar Dr. Semahagn Gashu Abebe Headlines Pacific University Scholars at Risk Speakers Series
Dr. Semahagn Gashu Abebe will speak on "The Changes and Challenges of Democratic Transition in sub-Saharan Africa" as part of Pacific University Scholars at Risk Speaker Series.
Dr. Abebe is a professor of African history, international law and global justice at Endicott College and author of "The Last Post-Cold War Socialist Federation: Ethnicity, Ideology and Democracy in Ethiopia."
His lecture will take place Wednesday, March 20 at 4 p.m. in Marsh Hall's Taylor Auditorium.
