Mary Salisbury MFA ’10 Published by online journal "Fiction Southeast"
Mary Salisbury MFA ’10 had her short story, “Ancient Oaks,” published by online journal, Fiction Southeast. She has also published an essay featured in the journal's "Why I Write" column, describing her path from being a registered nurse to pursuing her master of fine arts in writing. She was the recipient of an Oregon Literary Arts Fellowship, finalist for the Orlando Poetry Prize and the Rick DeMarinis Short Story Award, and is the author of the chapbook, Come What May. Her work has appeared in literary journal, Calyx, and has also won an honorable mention by Glimmer Train.
