Boxer Love Story: Shay Singer '14 & Travis George '14

Their story began at Pacific University in Forest Grove. Shay and Travis met days before the end of their freshman year. It was in that summer that they started off on the adventure of a lifetime. Their friendship was new, but Shay agreed to fly from her hometown of Spokane, Wash. to Travis’ home of Grants Pass, Ore. to spend a three-day whitewater rafting trip on the wild and scenic Rogue River. Over the last seven years, they’ve continued to fall in love on rivers, mountain peaks, vast deserts and rolling ocean beaches. They have grown together and as individuals and they can’t wait to see where their next adventures take them.
