Kari Wergeland MFA ’12 is an author and breast cancer survivor who has self-published two books of poetry, Voice Break and The Ballad of the New Carissa and Other Poems. Her third book, Breast Cancer: A Poem in Five Acts, was published this year by Finishing Line Press.
