Lisa Galloway MFA '07

Lisa Galloway MFA ’07 is a published poet and director of Litquake Elder Project, a community initiative that provides an opportunity for seniors to engage with one another and with their own creativity. The program began with Litquake, a literary festival held every fall in the San Francisco Bay area. Galloway structured the program to bring the energy and festivities of Litquake to the elders who physically can’t attend the festival. Funded by the California Arts Council, Litquake Elder Project gives the elderly a way to connect with one another and mitigate isolation.
