College of Health Professions Commencement for Six Schools Takes Place Saturday, Aug. 11
Pacific University will hold commencement exercises for several programs within the university's College of Health Professions at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 11 on the Marsh East Lawn of the Forest Grove Campus.
Degree candidates from the schools of Audiology, Dental Hygiene Studies, Graduate Psychology, Healthcare Administration and Leadership, Occupational Therapy and Physician Assistant Studies will realize the culmination of hard work and persistence when they receive their diplomas in front of family and friends.
Admission is free and tickets are not required. The ceremony can also be viewed in real time online at pacificu.edu/tv with captioning available as well.
Commencement marks the close of one life chapter and beginning of another for the soon-to-be graduates, who will subsequently embark on careers as audiologists, dental hygienists, clinical psychologists, counselors, occupational therapists, healthcare administrators and physician assistants.
A reception for graduates and their guests will immediately follow the ceremony and take place at the University Center located nearby.
