Kimberly Burdge joins Physical Therapy Program Faculty
Kim is from Richland, WA and completed her MS in Physical Therapy at the University of California in San Francisco where she lived for 20 years.
Kim transitioned to a career in physical therapy after a professional career in dance, which afforded her the opportunity to live and dance in the United States, Germany, and Sweden and to travel across Europe and to the Middle East. She is a Neurologic Clinical Specialist and has worked with adults across the continuum of care. She was the lead physical therapist on the Brain Injury Team at Kentfield Rehabilitation and Specialty Hospital in Kentfield California, and she served as the Clinical Supervisor of Rehabilitation Services at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco.
Most recently, Kim has worked as a clinician on the Complex Medical and Specialty team at the Center for Health and Healing at OHSU in Portland. Kim completed her DHSc in Leadership and Organizational Behavior at A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ. She will be teaching adult neuromuscular examination and intervention, patient assessment and intervention, and bioethics.
Kim is thrilled to be back in the Pacific Northwest with her husband Jason and her two daughters Arianna and Sophia.
