In the News: Newly Elected Board of Trustees Chair Gerald Yoshida '73
Pacific University alumnus Gerald C. Yoshida '73 recently became the first Hawai'i resident to be elected chair of the Pacific University Board of Trustees.
A member of the Board of Trustees since 2010, Yoshida's appointment was recently reported by Hawai'i's leading business publication, Pacific Business News, in its People on the Move section.
Yoshida is a shareholder, director and officer of Char Hamilton Yoshida & Shimomoto Attorneys at Law in Honolulu, where he leads the firm’s Insurance Regulatory Practice Group and specializes in the formation and representation of captive insurance companies and risk retention groups, and other insurance regulatory matters in the State of Hawai'i.
Pacific's Board of Trustees will hold its fall meeting in Oahu as part of Pacific in Hawai'i 2016, a historic three-day weekend of fun for alumni, students and friends of the university.
