College of Optometry's EyeVan Recognized for Commitment to Community

Pacific University's EyeVan, a highly successful community outreach program administered by College of Optometry students under the direction of Dr. Sarah Martin and other faculty, has been named an Everyday Hero by KATU Channel 2 News.

KATU profiled a recent EyeVan visit to a migrant workers camp in North Plains, where students provided eye screenings and other care to workers, some of whom had never before had their eyes examined.
