Dr. Connor Principe has been engaged in preference development research since his days as a graduate student. He is now an assistant professor of psychology at Pacific University, and regularly teaches courses on social development and statistics.

Dr. Principe received his PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. His recent research has addressed the development of preferences for attractive faces and non-face objects in school-age children and adults as well as the consequences of hold such preferences in young children and parents.
