Everything begins with a great teacher!

The Pacific University College of Education offers dynamic undergraduate and graduate teaching programs that prepare you to transform the lives of your students.

At Pacific University, we prepare you to design creative, meaningful, rigorous, and joyful learning opportunities for your students that promote and nurture their intellectual, ethical, social and emotional growth. You will become a teacher who is culturally competent and focused on student-centered classrooms.

We offer paths to initial teaching licensure, advanced degrees and endorsements for current teachers, and degrees for those passionate about expanding the field of education. We offer both full-time and part-time programs with on-line and face to face options.

You will enjoy a close cohort of peers who support one another throughout the learning process. You have the choice of studying in person or online, depending on the program, as well as through programs embedded in school districts throughout Oregon.

Real-world experience is a cornerstone of our teacher preparation programs. Our students have a myriad of opportunities to practice their skills, from our preK-4 Early Learning Community on the Forest Grove Campus to local schools to international placements.
