Sisters Emily Zinke OD '19 and Anna Helmers OD '19 both graduated from Pacific University and share the same career pursuit. In May 2019, they both graduated from Pacific's optometry program and now work in the family business, Eyecare Professionals PC, in Mandan, N.D. 
Katy Mitchell '94 is a full professor in the School of Physical Therapy at Texas Woman's University in Houston and the coordinator of post-professional studies.

Tami Goulden-Bosco '98 and her daughter snap a picture with her alma mater at a college booth fair in Reno, NV. 
Steven Nichols '82, has decided to come out of retirement to work with low-income children, adolescents and adults at Valley Health Team in California.
Jordan Keith OD '08 was named the Young Optometrist of the Year by the Minnesota Optometric Association.

Laird Thornton '76 has retired from Thomas Jefferson High School in Auburn, Wash. after 30 years of teaching. A retirement concert was held in his honor. 
Nathan Stanley '97, MAT '98 was hired as the new athletic director for Lakeridge High School in Lake Oswego, Oregon. He was hired over the summer and in the process became the school's fourth athletic director in six years. Stanley is also the assistant principal at Lakeridge.  
Robert DeCou '05 swam from the U.S. to Canada across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. DeCou's goal was to raise awareness and funds to help prevent human trafficking. He swam 31 miles in 17 hours, and made it within 670 feet of the Canadian shore. DeCou raised over $10,000 for human trafficking prevention efforts.
