The Placement Services Office of the College of Business at Pacific University is focused on providing resources for students to secure internships. “These kinds of informational events are so important…” acknowledged Dean Jim Goodrich, “…many of these summer internships have employer application deadlines this fall, and students need to apply now to be successful.”
The Tom McCall Center for Civic Engagement hopes everyone will participate in the midterm election on Nov. 6, 2018. As a college student, you have the choice to vote in Oregon or as an absentee resident of your home state. In addition to casting a ballot, there are opportunities to help register fellow student voters or inform others on election issues.

The NSF announced this month it had awarded Associate Professor Andrew Dawes, physics and a team of undergraduate researchers a third, three-year grant to study quantum optics. “I’m proud we can offer a lab environment with the same cutting-edge equipment you would find at top-tier institutions like Harvard and M.I.T.,” Dawes said.
The College of Business at Pacific University organized another successful Corporate Landscape Tour for its MBA Candidates.
