2019 May Commencement at Pacific University
More than 700 students will earn undergraduate and graduate degrees, while the university also bestows an honorary doctorate and the coveted Massih Prize during the first in-person spring commencement ceremonies since the COVID-19 pandemic/sports-recreation/outdoor-pursuits.

Outdoor Pursuits will be closed during finals from May 16 t o May 20, and will be reopen for summer hours beginning Monday, May 23. 
Ben Hole, philosophy professor, was awarded the Engaged Faculty Award at the 2022 Pacific University Community Collaboration Celebration hosted by the Tom McCall Center for Civic Engagement. 
Becca Ellenbecker was awarded the Engaged Staff Award at the 2022 Pacific University Community Collaboration Celebration hosted by the Tom McCall Center for Civic Engagement. 
Brendan Stamper co-chaired a session at the annual American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics (ASPET). Research by a graduate student and Dr. Stamper was also featured in a recent ASPET newsletter.
