Please join us in recognizing our academic year 2022-2023 Preceptors of the Year!
When the faculty and staff of the School of Pharmacy were creating the structure for the new curriculum, they divided the curriculum into course streams.
Dr. Emily Gray, Pacific University PharmD ‘17, is a preceptor at Lancaster Family Health Clinic. Dr. Gray shares her thoughts on her pharmacy preparation and working with students.  
Congratulations to our Pacific University School of Pharmacy Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows, Kalyssa Kleinschmit, Kat Le, and Kayhan Karimi, who presented their research at DiscoverBMB, the 2023 annual meeting for the American Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB) that was held in Seattle, WA, the week of March 25 – 28, 2023, and had close to 2,500 attendees.

Brendan Stamper
Stamper teaches medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, and hepatic physiology and function in the School of Pharmacy, where he also runs a research lab and oversees a summer research program.
The Queer Experience
The 1990s was a watershed period for LGBTQ+ rights across the country. In Oregon and at Pacific, incremental gains were accomplished amid a climate of of fear and hostility. Through the social and institutional challenges, progress continued. Today, the university works to celebrate diversity.
Dr. Nicola Carter, an assistant professor in Pacific University's School of Pharmacy, has been awarded indefinite tenure.
