Pacific University MFA in Writing faculty member Tyehimba Jess is the recipient of the 2017 Pulitzer Prize in Poetry for his book Olio. 
School of Pharmacy Assistant Professor Dr. Ashim Malhotra has edited and authored a book entitled, “Emerging Applications, Perspectives, and Discoveries in Cardiovascular Research”, published by IGI Global of Hershey, Pennsylvania. 
On March 11, the Oregon Physical Therapy Association (OPTA) had its Annual Conference in Clackamas and our program was well represented by core and adjunct faculty, students from all three classes, and alumni. 
Pacific University MFA in Writing faculty member Vievee Francis is the 2017 recipient of the Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award, the world's largest monetary prize for a single collection of poetry.
