Pacific University campuses remain open Monday, June 28, but employees and students should take precautions due to excessive heat
Pacific is working with the city of Forest Grove to conserve water. Beginning Monday, June 20, the university is shutting down the irrigation system on the Forest Grove Campus and will not be watering the lawn or plants for approximately one week. Water will still be available to students on campus in summer housing.
Due to the pandemic and social distancing requirements, Facilities Management and Campus Public Safety will not conduct annual lockdown drills at its campuses this spring. However, Pacific University encourages students, faculty and staff to be prepared in the event of an emergency situation that leads to a lockdown — anywhere, anytime.
