Public Health Update
The CDC now encourages everyone — vaccinated or unvaccinated — to wear a face mask indoors in public areas where there is substantial or high transmission. While Pacific University is not implementing new mask mandates at this time, we strongly encourage all members of our community to follow this CDC guidance.
Facilities Spruces up Pacific University During Summer Projects
While Pacific University students, faculty and staff have been learning and working remotely this year, the Facilities staff has been busy sprucing up the Forest Grove Campus in anticipation of the 2021-2022 academic year. Check out the list of projects.

Corey Hedger '18, MAT '19 wanted a small community and a small school where he would get the most out of his education while also being challenged every day.
Libby Fregoso BEd '22
Fregoso is pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Teaching and English Language Learning, or BEd, at Pacific University. The flexible program is designed with flexibility to support community college transfer students, as well as K-12 classified staff interested in becoming teachers. Students study at Pacific’s Woodburn, eugene or Forest Grove campuses, or in hybrid programs from their own communities, and they are immersed in local schools.
Cassidy & Syndie Binder high-fiving on the tennis court
Sisters Cassidy Binder ‘24 and Syndie Binder ‘22 dominated the Spring 2021 season for the women’s tennis team. Cassidy, a first-year Boxer from Beaverton, was named the 2021 Division III ITA Rookie of the Year after an amazing 20-22 overall record in singles and doubles — one of the best individual single-season performances in the program’s history. She was 10-1 in singles and 10-1 in doubles, where she paired up with her sister, junior Sydnie.
LeMar Anglin
LeMar Anglin was a pioneer in sports management when he graduated from Pacific University in 2012. Now the university has a major that will help others follow his trail.
