Workshop Provides Skills for Serving Gender-Diverse Individuals
Speech-language pathologists, educators and others in the education and healthcare industries can learn to serve individuals from across the gender spectrum through a one-day workshop, Optimizing Care Across the Gender Spectrum, on Saturday, April 6.
Build your knowledge and confidence in working with children, adolescents, and adults who are gender diverse.
We have assembled outstanding speakers who will inspire compassion and provide you with tools to serve in schools, higher education, and medical settings. The afternoon sessions provide an option to:
- Build specific skills in authentic voice and communication, or
- To focus on skill building and ways to support LGBTQ+ youth in educational settings
The workshop is a partnership between Pacific's Center for Gender Equity, School of Communication Sciences & Disorders, School of Learning & Teaching, and Music Department.
