Walk Away with a Job at Federal Work-Study Fair
What exactly is Federal Work-Study and how can students earn money? Students with FWS or interested in learning more about Work-Study are invited to attend an exclusive event and potentially walk away with a job!
Attend one (or both!) information sessions to get your work-study questions answered and meet with exclusive on/off-campus work-study supervisors who need to fill their FWS positions.
Employers will each present their opportunities, and then students can chat and/or interview on the spot and walk away with a job! Work with great teams on campus and add valuable experience to your resume.

Multi-purpose Room (MPR) in the Washburne University Center.
*This event is wheelchair accessible via the ramp near Clark Hall by the volleyball sand pit.
Why Should Students Attend?
Use it or lose it! If FWS-eligible students don’t use their award money, it technically means that a student’s financial need for tuition is unmet. That means students may end up taking out more loans if they don’t work to earn their FWS award.
Also, there are plenty of perks to having a FWS job such as flexible hours, typically no work on the weekends, and work hours are designed around your class schedule! Plus, gain valuable experience to add to your resume.
Just show up! No advance registration necessary. Come (and go) as you please and attend one or both events!
Did we mention there will be fun fall snacks? Enjoy snacks like candy apples, caramel popcorn, pretzels, hot chocolate, cider and more. Tell your friends!
