Victoria Chinn '12, Promotes Women's Health While Earning Doctorate in New Zealand
Victoria Chinn '12 earned her PhD this spring from Massey University in New Zealand. As part of her thesis, she created and delivered a women's health program called Next Level Health, which is intended to improve women's health by encouraging incremental lifestyle changes.
“I was surprised by the power that making small, achievable changes can have on one’s outlook, not only for health, but on other areas of their lives as well,” she told the university's communications team. “The findings from my research indicated that women made significant health improvements, in particular to their mental well-being."
At Pacific, Chinn earned an undergraduate degree in anthropology. Originally from Portland, she lives in Newtown, Wellington, New Zealand.
