Sarah (Gardner) Saavedra '06 Named CFO, VP of Finance at St. Martin's University

Sarah (Gardner) Saavedra '06 has joined St. Martin's University in Lacey, Wash., as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. In that capacity, she will supervise the university's budget and finances, as well as student financial services, purchasing and other business functions.

She graduated cum laude from Pacific University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance, became an accountant in Portland, earned an MBA from Western Governors University, joined the Washington State Auditor's Office, where she was higher education program manager.
