Safety Alert: Assault Reported Near Forest Grove Campus
Campus Public Safety officers are working with Forest Grove Police and increasing patrols on the campus tonight after a student reported an assault near campus.
The student was walking near the area of Main Street and 22nd Avenue when they were assaulted by an unknown individual. The student received medical attention but did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
Police are working to identify a suspect, and students are encouraged to stay home for the remainder of the evening, if possible.
Campus Public Safety patrols campus 24/7 and has extra officers on duty tonight. Officers are always available to provide an escort to a bus stop, vehicle, residence hall or other campus location. Call 503-352-2230 for assistance.
