Reminder: Submit Your Strategic Plan Proposals
Pacific is accepting proposals for strategic plan projects, and we need your input.
This past spring, Pacific’s Board of Trustees approved a new strategic plan for the university to take us through to 2030. “Our Pacific” outlines three themes: Empower, Thrive, and Advance, each with goals we hope to achieve as a community.
The next step is to identify the specific projects and action plans that will bring those goals to fruition. As the front line of our work, our Pacific employees are the experts in what we can and should do to achieve our vision for the future of Pacific University.
Strategic projects will be identified through three channels: shared governance, unit strategic planning, and an open invitation each semester for new proposals. The first proposal window is now open through Sept. 16.
As projects are prioritized and scoped, we also will be looking for volunteers to participate as topic experts and project implementation committee members. Watch for opportunities to get involved as projects are identified.
Pacific University is celebrating its 175th anniversary this year — and the work we do now will help us launch the next 175 years of living out our mission. Bring your creativity and future-focused ideas forward to make our dreams a reality.
