Gene McIntyre ’60 earned a M.A. in history from the University of Oregon in 1965, followed by a Ph.D. in education from UO in 1969. He retired in 1999 after a career as a teacher, associate professor, staff development specialist and administrator for Oregon colleges, public schools and the State of Oregon. He writes a regular blog for the Salem Statesman Journal and lives in Keizer, Ore.
A musician, former television news writer and current doctoral psychology graduate student in Pacific University’s School of Professional Psychology, Anna Antonia Giedwoyn, ’13 has also put together a children’s musical CD called Goldfish Don't Eat Pizza. She performed at Posh Baby in Portland last February.

Enie Vaisburd is an Assistant Professor of Media Arts at Pacific University. She is a nationally recognized filmmaker and professor of film and video. Vaisburd has helped Portland's film industry expand it's resources with her knowledge and experience as a filmmaker.
The English Language Institute (ELI) at Pacific University is a program for students who want to improve their academic English language skills before they take university classes in the United States. Most ELI students who successfully complete the ELI program transfer to one of Pacific University’s undergraduate or graduate programs.
Julissa Rosales is a senior at Pacific University majoring in Environmental Science and Economics. She is also a Voyages trip leader. She is leading a group of students canoeing and backpacking at Waldo Lake in Oregon.
