For the past 13 years, Dr. Lesley Hallick has led Pacific through a period of unparalleled growth and strength, culminating in navigating the university through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr. Jenny Coyle will become the 18th president in Pacific University’s 173-year history this July. She is the first alumna to lead Pacific as president.
Nominations may be made from anyone in the university community.
The commemoration begins with a short ceremony at 2 p.m. Monday, June 13, at the flagpole at the intersection of College Way and 21st Avenue. Incoming President Jenny Coyle will offer a few remarks and light refreshments will be available as we raise the Juneteenth flag.
Pacific University's academic and extracurricular engagement with the outdoors may be traced to the first Earth Day in 1970.
The School of Pharmacy recognized the Class of 2022 at the Graduation and Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 16th. The official hooding took place on Saturday, May 18th at the Forest Grove Campus. We wish our grads all the best and couldn’t be prouder!
When Title IX was enacted into law in 1972, few at Pacific University seemed to take notice. But it's clear in retrospect that the world of higher education had changed.
Many of School of Pharmacy faculty had promotions during this academic year. Several of our students were successful in presenting posters at annual meetings, with some winning scholarships. Congratulations to all of our faculty and students for a very successful year!
