Pacific University School of Pharmacy Hosts Annual Research Symposium
On May 15, 2024, Pacific University School of Pharmacy held its annual Research Symposium, featuring talks and poster presentations by PharmD and joint PharmD/Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences students. The event was well-attended by faculty, students, staff, and board members, creating a vibrant atmosphere of academic exchange and discussions. The symposium provided an excellent opportunity for sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration within the University and the broader pharmacy community.
Students showcased a diverse array of research projects, highlighting their dedication to advancing pharmaceutical sciences and improving patient care. Presentations covered topics in pharmacology, healthcare, and medical science. During these presentations the students delved into the optimization of treatment strategies, assessment of drug interactions, enhancement of healthcare delivery and patient safety. There was also a lot of discussion around healthcare education, literacy as well as advanced research techniques and applications.
