Pacific University Alumni Awards 2013

Dr. Ami (Heaton) Halvorson OD '07 has been awarded the 2013 Pacific University Young Alumni Leadership Award for her professional work in optometry, including in Pacific University's clinics, her mentorship of optometry students and her volunteer work supporting underserved populations.

Derek '92 and Betinna "Tina" (Cooper) Lasko '65 have been awarded the 2013 Pacific University David & Sandy Lowe Outstanding Alumni Service Award for their ongoing support of Pacific University both through their business and in their volunteer leadership.

Melinda "Mindy" (Cottrell) Cameron '65 has been awarded the 2013 Pacific University Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award for her dedicated career in journalism, her longstanding service to Pacific University, including as a member of the Board of Trustees, and her commitment to improving education.
