Pacific Trustee Michael Hudson Sr. ’77 Serving in New Position

Pacific University Trustee Michael Hudson Sr. ’77 is serving as the temporary director of human resources for the Santa Monica (Calif.) Community College District. His assumed the role on Jan. 1, 2018. His responsibilities include Title IX and other discrimination and workplace-related investigations, employee training and coaching, employee performance management and labor relations. Hudson has been substituting in a variety of human resources positions for the Santa Monica College since his retirement in 2011 from the Los Angeles Unified District. He and his wife are also enjoying spending time with their first grandson, Mikel Hudson-Fernandez, born June 6, 2017.
