Pacific Presents Bigs-in-School Mentorship with Joseph Gale Elementary
You're invited to explore the Joseph Gale Bigs-in-Schools Mentorship Program!
Since 1904, Big Brothers Big Sisters has been facilitating meaningful mentoring programs in communities across the U.S. This year, we're introducing Bigs-in-School to Pacific University and Joseph Gale Elementary School in Forest Grove!
Here is how the program works:
- During the school year, mentors (Bigs) from Pacific University will travel one-mile twice a month to Joseph Gale Elementary and meet with mentees (Littles) for one-hour.
- Big Brothers Big Sisters staff will facilitate fun and interactive activities that support social-emotional learning, academic achievement, and early career exploration.
- A Match Support Specialist is connected to each Big and Little Match and the Little's parent/guardian to support the match and ensure a safe and healthy relationship.
Your commitment to become a Big requires only two- hours each month, and will have a lasting impact on the life of a young person in the Forest Grove community. Ignite the promise of youth.
Become a Big!
